wggreen@terracon.com

Terracon, a 100 percent employee-owned consulting engineering firm specializing in Environmental, Facilities, Geotechnical, and Engineering Services, has several openings for Archaeological Field Technicians for a data recovery project in southcentral Virginia.  The project is expected to start on or about October 10, 2019, and last approximately seven weeks. Preference will be given to candidates who already have 10-hr (or 30-hr) OSHA training and maintain current First Aid/CPR/AED training certificates. As boating to and from the site each day will be necessary, knowing how to swim is required.

Pay is commensurate with experience and possession of the above training.  Per diem and single occupancy hotel rooms will be provided.  Successful candidates must possess a B.A/B.S. or above in anthropology/archaeology or a closely related discipline and have at least four months of CRM experience. Applicants must be able to work in physically demanding field conditions and will be subject to a drug screen and criminal background check prior to being hired.  Interested candidates should send a resume or CV with three professional references to:
