Our Las Vegas Office has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Inspector with experience in effective implementation of environmental compliance with the Federal, State and local levels of the government for major construction projects.



Responsibilities

  • Serve as Environmental Inspector for large scale construction projects.
  • Responsible for the implementation of construction specific mitigation measures under the guidance of the Environmental Compliance Manager.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive field safety culture.
  • Identify non-compliance issues.
  • Able to effectively communicate and solve non-compliance issues.
  • Efficiently work in a team environment.
  • Prepare daily and weekly monitoring reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in biology, botany, ecology, natural resource management, zoology environmental science or a related field .
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience completing biological monitoring, surveys and/or fieldwork; experience in SW region preferred.
  • Knowledge and ability to identify sensitive plant and wildlife species in the SW Region
  • Ability to record complete and accurate data
  • Ability to travel to a location, walk and conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather, rugged terrain, often at high altitudes, and ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds is required
