Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. (Commonwealth) is looking for two temporary Cultural Resources Technicians to work on two projects in central/southern Utah. Fieldwork will begin July 15th and will extend into August. There will be at least two 8-day field sessions (Wednesday to Wednesday), working 10-hours a day. Lodging and per diem are included. These positions are hourly with the pay rate between $13 and $15 per hour, based on individual qualifications and experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•Conduct pedestrian archaeological survey, walking about 7 to 10 miles a day.

•Work in the field under the direct supervision of a Crew Chief while conducting archaeological fieldwork.

•Record water control features along a potential historic landscape using a TrimbleGPS, and thorough photo documentation.

•A willingness to learn and take direction, as well as, work as a team member.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field or field school or equivalent experience providing knowledge of archaeological survey and recordation techniques and methodology is preferred.
