Project Manager/Principal Investigator - Florida


Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. (Commonwealth) is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Project Manager/Principal Investigator position in our Gainesville, Florida office. Job requirements include an M.A./M.S. in Anthropology or Archaeology and five years of Cultural Resources Management (CRM) experience in the southeast region. Preferred candidates will have Florida experience in historic and prehistoric archaeology and either qualify or be a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists.

This position will be responsible for the management of multiple and/or multi-disciplinary projects. Candidates should possess a firm understanding of the Section 106 and NEPA processes and be able to write and prepare well-organized CRM documents. Proficiency with Trimble GPS equipment and GIS is preferred. Primary responsibilities include overseeing fieldwork and supervision of field staff, technical analysis and report writing, quality assurance/control of field documentation, site forms, and final reports, and management of project budgets and schedules. Other position responsibilities may include proposal preparation, business development, and client management.
