HDR has Immediate Need for Archaeologists in Phoenix, Arizona
HDR, working jointly with AECOM, has an immediate need to hire archaeologists to work on the
South Central Light Extension Project, located on Central Avenue in Phoenix, Maricopa County,
Arizona. The work involves construction monitoring and data recovery excavations in Pueblo
Viejo, a prehistoric Hohokam platform-mound village. The project has started and the
archaeological monitoring and data recovery are anticipated to run at least through June 2021,
and perhaps longer.
We are looking for crew and crew chief level experience, and familiarity with Arizona or
Southwest archaeology. The crew is working 5, 10-hours days per week, with day and night
shifts. Work over 40 hours per week is overtime pay. The pay is $20/hour for crew, and above
that for crew chiefs commensurate with experience.
If interested, please email your resume Mark Brodbeck at HDR at mark.brodbeck@hdrinc.com,
and copy Gene Rogge with AECOM at gene.rogge@aecom.com.
