On-Call Archaeologist Needed - South Carolina

Trileaf Corporation seeks experienced archaeologists to conduct Phase I surveys for telecommunication projects throughout South Carolina. This is an on-call position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualifications Standards for Archaeology (MS/MA required)

Previous telecom experience a plus

Provide their own equipment (including a ¼-inch screen and Munsell)

Ability to work independently

Ability to meet strict deadlines

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation

Responsibilities:

Perform unsupervised Phase I fieldwork within 5-7 days of being assigned a project

Work with remote staff regarding project work, scheduling, and data exchange

Take clear and detailed field notes and photographs
