Chrysalis Archaeology is looking to hire Field Technicians for an urban archaeological project in Queens, New York. 

This is a TEMPORARY POSITION, estimated to last approximately 6 months, 40 hours per week. There is no per diem associated with this position. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         Must have a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Archaeology or associated field.

·         Must have at least one year of CRM experience, preferably in urban archaeology.

·         Must have a valid driver’s license and access/use of a car to travel to/from work locations.

·         30 Hour OSHA Certification is required.  Training will be provided if necessary.

·         Forensic experience is a plus.

LOCATION:

New York City/New York State

Must be willing to commute within the tri-state area.

START TIME:

Immediately. Project is underway and will last approximately 6 months.

SALARY:

Salary is based on experience.    

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Excavation and basic laboratory work associated with a nineteenth to twentieth century site.
