when to apply

notquitebacon

I will be graduating in may and currently looking for jobs, but I will be attending a field school in june. When applying for jobs and stating when I can start, is it too far in advance to be looking for august? or is it best to get my foot in the door and hope that my resume wont be misplaced or forgotten when I actually am available to work?

I would apply now for anything that is open or comes your way. If accepted make is perfectly clear that you have other commitments in June, but you are eager to help with the project now and until then. As field school winds down apply again to opportunities that present themselves.
