Digital preservation and curation
Dano
So now that our field is based more and more on digital media and computer systems stuff. I was wondering fi any of you would have any suggestions if I wanted to get into digital curation. I am assuming that in all likely hood I would have to direct myself more towards a study of media arts and computer science than curation. Any thoughts?

Hey Dano,
You should start by downloading or buying (fairly cheap as I recall) the Guide to Good Practice book relating to digital archives and excavation material etc. http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/project/goodguides/excavation/
There are quite a few other really good publications by this group and a few others that might interest you.
Good luck,
Jason.
