Since the end of May I have worked six weeks, for two different outfits, in three states. But nothing steady, and now it's almost winter.

It's been a tough year all around... at least that's what I've been hearing from many former co-workers. Not surprisingly, some have been compelled to move on to other types of work, and not everyone is planning to come back to CRM.

Dwarmour, it's true, the surveys and polls here don't seem to get a good response. My guess is that it's because they are easy to lose in the shuffle as we have so many message forums. The redesign of archaeologyfieldwork.com is being done in a way so that various items will be showcased and rotated throughout the main page of the website (including polls and surveys). I know we have a lot of different forums here at present, but the new version of the website will be much easier to navigate, and easier on the eyes.
