Byzantine Excavation in Mallorca

Trampero

Hello all,
ArchaeoSpain has just added a new excavation for next summer, the restoration and excavation of a Byzantine settlement and Early Christian basilica of Son Pereto on the island of Mallorca, Spain.

It is a small crew, and we are looking for four volunteers to join us.

For more information, please visit http://www.archaeospain.com/pereto. And if you have any questions, our email is programs@archaeospain.com.

Many thanks,
Mike Elkin
ArchaeoSpain director

I am an upcoming Freshman in college who plans to major in Archaeology and am looking for digs in the 2011. You said you were looking for 4 volunteers and I was wondering what the requirements are, I have no experience but I am a fast learner and hold a true passion for Archaeology, so If there is a chance I will be eligible please let me know.

Hi, I'm currently finishing up my freshman year at Kent State University and was interested in your excavation. I have no prior excavation experience but I have completed several anthropology and archaeology classes and feel that I could contribute well to the project.
