Historic Preservation Internship
The Historic Preservation internship requires a self- motivated, detail oriented graduate student studying historic preservation, history, architectural history, building conservation or archival studies. Strong undergraduate candidates may also be considered.

Responsibilities
? Catalogue and digitize conservation reports, maintenance invoices, slides and
? photographs.
? Develop a records management system for the above documentation.
? Update the building chronology with maintenance interventions from 2006-present.
? Conduct a moisture survey and compare results to the pre-drainage restoration data.
? Research and Identify items in the Museums Architectural Collection.
? Accession items into Past Perfect database.
? Document smokehouse and garden structures according to HABS standards.

Qualifications
? Strong organizational skills.
? Currently enrolled in relevant college/university program.
? Knowledge of historic building materials and architectural typologies.
? Experience with PastPerfect a plus.
Academic credit may be arranges in cooperation with sponsoring college or university.
