Objective:

 

To gain work in CRM, lab work, museum work, or historical interpretation. Could possibly relocate and travel. Will research any area of history (including world and American history) for a particular job.

 

Education:

BA Interdisciplinary- American Archaeology

 

Relevant courses taken: Archaeology Theory and Method, Historical Methods, Archaeology Colloquium, Art History, Field School (multiple), Biblical Archaeology, Geology, Cultural Anthropology, American History Survey courses, American History courses: Colonial History through the Civil War, African American History, Introduction to American Studies, Anthropology of Native Americans, World History Survey courses, and an Internship.

 

Qualifications:

 

Basic experience using Topographical maps.

Basic experience using GIS.

Basic experience using GPSr devices.

Conducted lab work and research including mending artifacts and cataloging.

Ability to lift heavy buckets and wheel barrows.

Has knowledge of field techniques.

Knowledge of Munsell soil identification.
