SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
More than 25 years of professional experience in the areas of archaeological survey, testing, and excavation, geomorphic process analysis, stratigraphic mapping and interpretation, environmental studies, and remote sensing. An interdisciplinary academic background includes extensive undergraduate and graduate study in geomorphology and geology, stratigraphy and sedimentology, pedology, hydrology, biogeography and environmental ecosystem analysis, and archaeological theory and method with particular focus on the Southwest. This combination of experience and expertise provides the necessary foundation for effecting contributions to every project stage—from research design, to the analysis and integration of various types of field data, and to final report preparation where larger issues of site formation, context, and preservation often need to be addressed in order to make responsible cultural resource management recommendations in a timely, technically sound, and cost efficient manner that serves the best interests of both clients and regulatory agencies.
