Archaeologist/CRM professional in Denver CO area

rblakeley

I am seeking employment in and around the Denver area that will allow me to follow my professional passion while still able to fulfill my family responsibilities.  I feel that I would be an asset to any team because of my interest in promoting Colorado's history while preserving our past for future generations.

Born and raised in the state of Colorado, I have always had an insatiable curiosity in history as well as a deep appreciation of, and interest in, archaeology.   As I’ve gotten older, that curiosity has grown into a passion for the work.  It is because of this that I pursued an education in anthropology after leaving the private sector and the unsatisfying jobs available to me there without a college degree.

To such an end, I have graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in the spring of this year, 2010, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Anthropology with a minor in Accounting.  Within my anthropological studies, I focused primarily in archaeology and cultural anthropology.  Attaining this degree has been a dream come true for me and I am now looking forward to being able to put this invaluable education to good use in the professional sector.

I feel that my professional background in the private business sector demonstrates my strong work ethic as well as my ability to undertake a variety of tasks with competence and a high level of professionalism.  This combined with my creativity and attention to detail will make me a valued member of your research team.  I feel that I have found my true calling within anthropology and I am looking forward to beginning a career within this exciting profession.

Following is a copy of my resume which further details my qualifications for the position available.  I can be reached via my e-mail at robin.blakeley@gmail.com for further details. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you to discuss the employment opportunities you have available at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your consideration,

Robin Blakeley
