Geophysics Resistivity system
timuk123
Meter can be used for conventional 2 pole resistivity operation walking a field grid or combined with the sequencer and electrode line to automate grid readings. Using 2D resistivity software, the data can also be used for depth resistivity analysis
System consists of :
* Earth Resistivity Meter
built from design by John Becker, EPE April & May, 2003
* Sequencer
home design/build with PICAXE programmable controller to automate 2 electrode (pole/pole etc) readings from electrode array to the resistivity meter via relays.
* Electrode array and earth lines
line with 20 electrode spikes, half metre spacing, double wire to each electrode. Seperate earth double line
The kit is a multi-electrode resistivity meter system which allows a line of 20 electrodes to be used for 2D resistivity surveys.
Fully portable and run from 9v. The principles of 2D resistivity depth surveys are explained here http://www.geoelectrical.com/gs_brochure2d.pdf
A description of the sequencer design will be supplied to the buyer together with EPE copies for the meter design.
Price complete GBP200 + postage. Could separate.
