The Student Conservation Association seeks a Museum Intern for Great Smoky Mountains National Park (June-August 2011). You will wash, sort, catalog and photo-document cultural artifacts generated as part of past and present field collections resulting from inspections undertaken as part of National Historic Preservation Act compliance projects or archival collections; complete data entry in the Park’s cultural resources database; assist the Park’s museum technician with other curatorial duties; assist in other museum management duties including exhibits, and the storing and cleaning of collections.
